Everything worth knowing about our studio and offer

How does it work exactly with the pole dance subscriptions?

By signing up for a Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced subscription, you sign up for a specific course with a consistent day and time. A course period includes 8 lessons of 75 minutes each. The course period is billed every 2 months on the 1st of each month and sent by email. You will always find all invoices in your personal customer profile. Your Pole subscription is unlimited and continues automatically. So you don’t have to sign up for a new course every 2 months, this was requested by our customers.

What if I don’t want to join pole dance classes anymore?

We accept cancellations of pole subscriptions in writing by e-mail up to 7 days before the start of the new course period. This means that you have to cancel your subscription at the latest on the last and 8th day of the course.

Cancellation & compensation for pole dance classes

You can compensate up to 3 missed lessons of a course period. Sign out in the group chat for the corresponding lesson and arrange on-site or by e-mail a make-up date in the same or the following course period. These are subject to availability at the same or lower pole level. Please note that agreed-upon make-up lessons cannot be rescheduled or made up. If you cancel a make-up collection, for whatever reason, or simply do not attend it, it will be forfeited without compensation.

What are drop-ins? And how’s the process here?

Our drop-ins are individually bookable lessons with individual content. You can simply register and pay online for your desired drop-in. If you are unable to attend, you can cancel your registration free of charge up to 24 hours before the lesson. After that, the regular price applies even in case of absence due to illness or accident. If a drop-in is cancelled due to a low number of participants, we will inform you by e-mail at least 4 hours before the lesson and refund the course fee directly, if already paid online.

I am interested in pole dancing, how do I get started?

Our trial lessons are the perfect teaser to get a taste of pole dancing. Here you’ll get a sneak peek into the pole world and our studio in one lesson. No prerequisites are needed. In our 4-week Intro to Pole classes you will get the basics to get started with pole dancing. Here you will learn the most important techniques, as well as your first spins and tricks on the pole. No prerequisites are needed for this course either. After attending this beginner course you can join any course on Pole Dance Beginner 1 level. You already have pole dance experience? Contact us by e-mail with a few spins and tricks you have already mastered, so we can determine the appropriate level and offer you a trial lesson in an ongoing course.

What happens if I am late?

All classes have a 5 minute window for late arrivals. If you arrive more than 5 minutes after the scheduled start time, we unfortunately cannot allow you to participate in the lesson for health and safety reasons.

Course structure and concept

With over 12 years of teaching experience, we have developed a unique concept that honors all aspects of pole dancing and is constantly evolving as the sport itself changes. We do not teach individual spins & tricks separately and detached from each other but always in connection with transitions to other spins, tricks, dance and/or floor elements. So in each lesson you will learn a combo to emphasize not only the athletic, but especially the dance aspect of pole dancing. The combos are the center of each lesson, with an initial warm up and specific strength exercises on the pole, followed by a freestyle and cool down to round out the lessons.

Static & spinning pole

In order to appreciate the dance on the static pole and the spinning pole, two lessons on the static pole are followed by one lesson on the spinning pole. Not only the technique is different but also the spins and tricks themselves vary and we always strive to cover the whole spectrum of pole dancing. Because also at pole dance competitions you always dance on a static and a spinning pole.

Teaching language

We always adapt the teaching language to the participants. So all courses & lessons are taught in German and/or English.

Training clothes

Basically you need normal training clothes for our lessons. In Pole Dance you should also bring some shorts, because we need skin for a good grip on the pole. It is also always worth having knee pads with you for all dance lessons, as well as pole heels for all heels lessons. Knee pads can be purchased at the studio and pole heels can be rented. For a better grip on the pole we also recommend the liquid magnesium “Better Grip” for the hands and a “Grip + Glow” for the body. Especially in the colder months when the air & skin is dry, the latter is beneficial.

Jewelry & body lotion

In all pole lessons we ask that you remove all jewelry as it damages the poles and increases the risk of injury. Please note that all body care products containing oils will have a negative effect on your grip on the pole. If you don’t want to do without a body lotion, we recommend an aloe vera gel as an alternative.
