Ramona’s Pole Story

Sometimes people start pole dancing because they are looking for a new sport. Sometimes, because they want to try something different. And sometimes, because they are looking for a moment in the week that belongs only to them. For Ramona, pole dance became exactly that.

Finding something just for herself

After the birth of her third child, Ramona was looking for a hobby that would let her switch off, clear her mind, and focus entirely on herself for a moment. Something that would challenge her physically but also give her mental space and energy.

Pole dance and the combination of strength, elegance and confidence had always fascinated her, so in December 2022 she booked her very first class.

And she has been coming to class every week since, full of joy and motivation.

More than just strength

What Ramona loves most about pole dancing is that it combines so many different elements: strength, endurance, elegance, and a bit of sexiness. It’s not just a workout, not just dance — it’s a mix of everything.

And that’s exactly what makes pole so challenging and so rewarding at the same time.

Learning to trust her body

One of the biggest challenges at the beginning was learning to trust her body and understanding the technique behind the movements.

Many figures and poses look easy when you see them, but once you try them yourself, you quickly realise how much technique, strength and body awareness they actually require.

“Pole is not about forcing your body into shapes. It’s about learning how your body works and how to use strength and technique together,” Ramona sums it up

Small progress, big motivation

What keeps Ramona motivated are the small steps forward. A better hold, a cleaner movement, holding a figure a little longer, feeling a little stronger than last week.

Her pole journey is still relatively young, but she already feels how much stronger and more confident she has become, not only on the pole, but also outside the studio.

And that is something we hear very often: People come for the sport, but they stay for how it makes them feel.
