Bookings for subscriptions, memberships, or individual classes are made electronically via the website or the Gravity Arts app. The minimum age for participation in pole dance courses or individual lessons/specials is 16 years.
By completing a booking electronically, the participant accepts these General Terms and Conditions (GTC), and the contract between the participant and Gravity Arts GmbH (“Gravity Arts”) is concluded.
Bookings are processed in the order in which they are received. If communication settings allow, a confirmation will be sent automatically by e-mail. Participants who have opted out of e-mail notifications are responsible for checking their bookings directly in the app or on the website.
By completing a booking, the participant confirms that all information provided is accurate and that they are legally authorized to enter into the contract.
The fees for subscriptions, memberships, or individual lessons apply as stated at the time of booking. All prices are stated in Swiss Francs (CHF).
Fees can be paid via credit or with debit card.
For memberships, the due amount remains outstanding until payment is received.
If payment is not made on time, the membership will be suspended until the outstanding amount is settled. Suspension does not constitute a cancellation of the membership.
Gravity Arts reserves the right to deny participation in classes, workshops, or other services until full payment has been received.
For cancellations, section 5 (Withdrawal by the participant) applies.
Changes to the course schedule are possible at any time. Courses, course lessons, and individual lessons/specials may be canceled or postponed by Gravity Arts without stating reasons. Cancellations or postponements will be communicated to participants in good time whenever possible.
In the event of cancellation, fees will be refunded, or existing credits will be reactivated on the participant’s account for future bookings. Refunds will be processed using the same payment method originally used for the booking unless otherwise agreed.
If a workshop is postponed, the right of withdrawal according to section 5.1 applies.
If an individual lesson is postponed, the right of withdrawal according to section 5.3 applies.
If an entire course is postponed, the right of withdrawal according to section 5.2 applies.
If no withdrawal is made, the participant agrees that the course, course lesson, or individual lesson/special will take place on the postponed date.
Gravity Arts assumes no liability for any additional costs (e.g., travel or accommodation) resulting from such changes.
Participants must withdraw from individual lessons by canceling the class through the booking system on the website or app. Withdrawals from courses, workshops, or memberships must be made in writing via e-mail.
Non-attendance or non-payment of the fee does not constitute a valid withdrawal. Partial participation in a course does not entitle the participant to a reduction in payment.
The following cancellation policies apply regardless of the reason for withdrawal, including illness, accident, delays in public transportation, or other circumstances. Medical certificates or other documentation do not entitle participants to a refund.
Cancellation by the participant up to 7 days before the start of the workshop is free of charge.
In the event of withdrawal after that period, the entire fee (as compensation for untimely cancellation) must be paid.
Cancellation by the participant up to 24 hours before the start of the lesson is free of charge.
In the event of a later withdrawal, the entire fee must be paid
Cancellation by the participant up to 8 hours before the start of the lesson is free of charge.
If the participant cancels later, the fee (credit) will expire.
Withdrawal from a 3-month membership is possible by the end of each 3-month period, with 20 days’ notice, and must be made via e-mail. Changes to the membership — such as an upgrade, downgrade, or switch to a 10-class pass or higher — can be made by the end of each payment period (monthly).
Unused class credits will not be refunded upon cancellation or downgrade of a membership.
All choreographies learned in the courses are subject to copyright, which the participant may not infringe. In particular, individual movements and choreographies learned during the course may not be performed or taught to third parties — whether for a fee or free of charge — without the consent of the author.
Participation in the courses and individual lessons/specials is at the participant’s own risk.
No liability is assumed for injuries, accidents, or similar incidents, and liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Liability for auxiliary persons is excluded.
Insurance is the responsibility of the participants. Gravity Arts recommends private liability and accident insurance. Any illnesses, injuries, or complaints must be reported to the trainer before the start of the course or individual lesson/special. No liability is accepted for theft or loss of personal belongings.
The current privacy policy applies.
We reserve the right to change fees and the GTC at any time.
These GTC are subject to Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich 11.
